THE ZORPAZORP LOTR CHANNEL IS GREAT!

I am about to start my LOTR: Middle-Earth SB GAME hobby. During my little research phase I just found ZORPAZORP. These guys are great fun, and their videos are very helpful to new LOTR people. Their two part battle is a couple of years old now... but like JRR Tolkien this level of quality only gets better with age. They also have a nice active Instagram joint.

BOSS SHOP: UPDATED COSMIC TERRAIN PART 1

After years of playing cool ass STARSHIP BATTLES... I felt like it was time to get some old projects completed, and to add some all new galactic goodies to my terrain setup.

   I love these cool little planet and moon models.  

I decided to use cute little stackable bathroom storage canasters for their bases, which are sturdy, steady, and look great. The extra cool effect of these canister-bases is that their smokey black finish works perfectly on the table. and gives the planet-moon models the look of actually floating in deep (dark) space. If I want to put a model like these in a lighter sky I will use the clear version of these little canisters.

This article covers part one of the project. I will be getting other COSMIC TERRAIN models and related items and showing you many completed models that I have been working on... soon.

The forthcoming Dark Horse Sandworm Bookends are very cool. The fun extra is that these NEW Sandworms look VERY similar to the models I am using for my Fremen Stunted Sandworm Raiders!

As I planned my DUNE Miniatures Game I did a lot of NEW Research since I recently started reading the Brian Herbert main storyline Dune Universe Prequel Novels. The concepts in these new stories have been very inspiring for me as I add new designs to my DUNE Factions!

COLLECTION DIARY: FEBRUARY 2021

I finally own all of the fun little Sakaaran models I have been hunting down over the last year to make my MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL MCP EVIL Faction: Ronan! This is not a full army of course but I am not trying to do that. I am making MY MCP a fun-ass Skirmish game. Three (bug)man squads and their leaders and support will make for a plenty badass force to recon with... just like in Dat Bad Ass GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Movie... 

YAH! I am very happy about it in a way these "Viable" crybabies that play MCP exactly as it is dished out to them by AMG will never understand. Of course I am not the only old-school hobbyist that does what they want to do with their toys... and that makes me happy.

Another beloved Sci-Fi Universe that begs to be advanced beyond the core game (which I pretty much love as it is now) is good ole ALIENS. This month I got the start on expanding the game with models that I feel will work great to represent some of the advanced Marine tech we know and love from the GLORIOUS DARK HORSE ALIENS Comics.

COLLECTION DIARY: CHRISTMAS 2020

I have been collecting models from EVERYWHERE to build my wonderful special games. The most challenging project (besides MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL) has been to make my DUNE Skirmish Game cool and comprehensive! My little quest to represent The DUNE Universe the way that makes me the most happy has resulted in the first large orders from Peppets War and Etsy 3D Print shops. 
 

I have built up several units and even have some nice vehicles and terrain for my beloved DUNE Game. I will be sharing these goodies in 2021 as faction specific grouped collections. I did this back in the day when I was building my Boss' BIG Approved STAR TREK Collection, and STAR WARS LEGION. World building collections need to be kept together for the most part. The DUNE Universe is huge and so I feel this is the best way to buy and share what I am doing with my DUNE loving B6*R7 Fliers.

I think I am good with Cosmic Protocol Mechs as of this holiday.

BOSS SHOP: DUNE & MCP - CHARACTERS AND ELITE TROOPS FOR X-MAS!

Early Holiday FUN came in this week from Puppets War! I love this wonderful company!

I have some of the best models on the market now for many of my very special Character and Elite Troopers. This huge order is going to make my DUNE Skirmish Game and Marvel Knights RED Skull-Hydra SOooo COOL! Some of this is going to make it in my Marvel Cosmic collection too.

There are twenty three miniatures in this order. Total cost for this order was just $250 which comes up to a wonderful $10 per miniature! Then the great plus in all of the many bits and terrain goodies too... The Pup'W-Crew even made extra sure that I would get this sexy package in the holiday rush, because they know I live in a huge apartment highrise and packages can get lost here in the seasonal rush.

COLLECTION DIARY: MAY 2020

I got a few nice Imperials over recent months during the glory of my Marvel Crisis/Cosmic Protocol collecting. I am always going to love Real STAR WARS. The spotty inventory has been an issue too. I am going to make it a STAR WARS LEGION Autumn and get all of the goodies I have missed or let wait recently.

I finally got my first wonderful DEEP-CUT Studio Game Mat! I am going to get more of these now that I know what I have suspected for years; this company makes great tabletop gear! This mat is going to be great for all of my games because I like settings like Lovecraft's seaside horror settings and of course cool planets for STAR WARS LEGION and my MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL settings and so forth.

COLLECTION DIARY: APRIL 2020

I got a lot of my crazy fun ideas for my Marvel Monsters in my badass MCP Collection this month!
I love Spider Man and thus most of his enemies too! I need some verity in my VENOM Universe such as Regular Venom in Spidey Comics. Then there is SPACE KNIGHT VENOM in Cosmic Marvel. And don't forget about the various VENOM Monsters!

Oh Boy! I love all of these cool critters! LtoR-TtoB: M.O.D.O.K. (YES HE IS A MONSTER... and he even goes into space to cause problems), cool little Nurgle Bugs for evil alien space bugs, Space Marines as bits for Space Knight Venom and other tech-geared monsters, Deadzone Lizards (because Lizard Mutants and Space Lizards are awesome!), Cosmic Iron Man and a cute Kraken for my Neocen Krakin Hero Bharin monster model, and a scary-fun Martian Space Spider as a big leader for the Mutant-spider-people already in MCP!!!

AND... I didn't forget the Quinjet while I was buying cool ships for my MCP EPIC Games!

COLLECTION DIARY: JUNE 2018

It's a Dirty Black Summer... again; so I hunted up some NICE Eldritch Horror miniatures, and terrain models for my Eldritch Horror Extreme Skirmish Game... to defy Miserable Summer! Hurry up and come back home Autumn!

I purchased a few neat little items this month for my Good ECO and Evil Bogger, Deep, and Vampire gangs! I have been thinking about Character-Gang boards for my game, and decided the Ultimate Guard 14 pocket sheets will work very well. I happily also finally found a very cool fence setup that I like and can use with all of my Lovecraftian terrain. I hunted up some very nice deals on a pair of O Scale old school model house too this month, and more vehicles for my Dunwich and Arkham Environments! 

I have been looking around for a nice YT-1300 Light Freighter model for my LEGION Terrain... for a while now. I decided to get the silly force awakens version after I saw a video review of it where the owner had black washed it and made it look great. I also stumbled on another wacky toy recently that will become my REBEL BD-A7... cause reasons! The nice lights set is going to be used for lighting some of my Legion buildings and as fire/explosion tokens.

COLLECTION DIARY: FEBRUARY 2018

This month I got a lot of fun models that I have wanted, but as is often the case when I had my mind and money on them they decided to be cute and be out of stock. Be that as it may: it is fun to chase down the beloved toys!!!

I am building up my STAR WARS: LEGION Terrain, but that does not mean this new kid in town is going to get all of my money and attention. I have finally got the first very nice large Mansions Of Madness Expansion and some badass trees and houses to go with my Eldritch Horror Terrain. I have wanted the crazy cool little Murder Of Crows set too, but as I stated above this was one of the sneakiest miniatures sets that had been out of stock for months. I love that during that time Reaper released their excellent new Scarecrow to go with the Murder. I also snuck in another set of Walking Dead Zombies. I love these Walker Expansions because they often look like Southerners which I plan to have populating Dunwich and Louisiana Environments.

I have a lot more Legion Terrain Goodies in this month. I am working on a lot of cool HUTT Cartel Terrain and part of that is a Hutt Patrol Fighter and Hutt Lord's Skiff, and Jet Bikes. These Hutt Lord vehicles will be made over the Dark Eldar models, with other items such as Bandai Gunpla parts and other bits.
I have a great need to have at least a few Jawa in my Cartel, and grabbed the cool little Star Wars Battle Pack set loose at a great deal price. I am happy! These little guys are 54MM Scale but the smaller fellows will work in Legion as the large Jawa we see leading bands of the smaller critters.
I am not sure what I am going to do with the TIE Interceptor; crash it or use it on an Imperial base setup.

Of course I got some more good items to detail my Hutt and Boss' Star Wars Land buildings. I am using the beads and bead fittings as cool ornate lamps like the ones we see in the better Star Wars films. The Tamiya Clear Paints are for other lighting and texture effects.

This was a good month of Glorious Collecting. Next month is all LEGION... of course.

COLLECTION DIARY: CHRISTMAS 2017

I HAD A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY AND I HOPE MY B6*R7 FLYERS DID TOO!

I purchased one more round of large Starship models for some diversity in my badass STAR WARS: LEGION Terrain. I think I am good as I can now make a Rebel, Imperial, or Scum & Villainy base look alive with ships parked around buildings!

Interactive terrain elements are a must have for me in this grand adventure. I got some more cool models to build my little gangs in LEGION. Above are Techno Mutants and some Hutt Cartel members with Droids.

More special characters for the Cartel and my Wasteland Scaves which are the people that will ride the dinosaurs you have seen in this Diary and a previous Diary. Legion Models are bigger but these are going to be fine particularly since they will be on buildings and vehicles most of the time... it will all look great on the table.

Special terrain items... The Glory!
