NEW STEEL RIFT

The NEW STEEL RIFT miniatures snuck up on me... I have been all over getting my LOTR stuff and also because I am pretty much good with my large and well organized Battletech Collection. I will be getting more cool stuff from time to time however; especially Special Forces models like these because they are just to cool to not own!

COLLECTION DIARY: FEBRUARY 2023

 

I am happy to be able to build many variations of my first cool city sector with three complete blocks. I plan to have nine blocks for the full city scape. What you see here cost $200 so it will be an ongoing project which is FUN because I like to take time and plan out everything.

 I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to continue getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is very cool to finally have these main city buildings for my BATTLETECH Environments.

The badass building to the right in this image is a hero building from my MILITERY BUILDINGS collection. I included it in this ADMINISTRATIVE layout because in games these sections of my cities will be adjacent in Militarized safe cities. The right side of this layout could have an AIRPORT or INDUSTRIAL block sector for example.

BOSS' BATTLETECH: TECH TURF - CITY BUILDINGS: ADMINISTRATIVE PART 2

As of this month I finally own the big three city buildings I am using for my Administrative sector  Now that I have tested how they will fit when stacked in alternate configurations I am of course continuing the planning of my city layouts. This is all very FUN! 🤗🌆🧐

The Office Tower model is a fantastic large single building.

I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to be getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is about time I got busy on building a few BATTLETECH Environments.

As most of us understand how secure cities work I am of course continuing my CITY TECH layout with the Military Buildings of my city. These are the buildings strategically positioned to protect population zones, and factory and transit facilities. 

I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to be getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is about time I got busy on building a few BATTLETECH Environments.

BOSS' BATTLETECH: TECH TURF - MILITARY BUILDINGS: HOUSE STEINER 🤍⚡💙 PART 1

As most of us understand how secure cities work I am of course continuing my CITY TECH layout with the Military Buildings of my city. These are the buildings strategically positioned to protect population zones, and factory and transit facilities. 

I love this Garrison model! I will be using an assortment of weapons and devices in the hardpoints.

I will be using this cool little secured Hex Wall storage area for all of my B-Tech settings but it had to start in one of these articles so here it is looking cool and cute! I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to be getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is about time I got busy on building a few BATTLETECH Environments.

BATTLETECH: DFA BATTLE VIDEOS - COOL TERRAIN

I like Death From Above's Battletech game videos, particularly because of the terrain setups they have in every game. Here are a couple of their recent games with all kinds of great looking wilderness and full city environments. The actual games are often fun to watch and I expect that my B6*R7 Fliers will enjoy these videos.

As most of us understand how cities work I am of course starting on the Administrative sector of my city first. These are the buildings situated between general population zones and the more advanced millinery, factory, and airport zone buildings.

The Federal Bank model is a fantastic larger counterpart to the Admin model.

   As my regular B6*R7 Fliers know I plan stuff out as I buy the toys and such. I have been doing that for my renewed BATTLETECH babies for six fun months. Now that I have most of my MECHS, AEROSPACE, and TROOPS setup and just waiting for me to buy all of them.
