COLLECTION DIARY: CHRISTMAS 2021!

It's been a while since I had any new Eldritch Horror stuff to post.
I am very happy to be able to post another CTHULHU CHRISTMAS this year!

The Haunter of The Dark is one of my favorite LOVECRAFT stories. These new models enable me to play that story.

Happy ELDRICTH Boss Out!

IT WAS A GOOD DARK WEEKEND!

I am very happy to know I will have this in hand next week! From the time I got the email notice from GameNerdz and purchased my copy (three minutes after I got the email) they had sold out again in nine minutes... Yah, this is a damn populare game!

I am going to play Cursed City... of course but I also wanted it for my Eldritch Horror and Marvel Knights game collections! This was a cool, overcast, good DARK weekend!

COLLECTION DIARY: MAY 2020

I got a few nice Imperials over recent months during the glory of my Marvel Crisis/Cosmic Protocol collecting. I am always going to love Real STAR WARS. The spotty inventory has been an issue too. I am going to make it a STAR WARS LEGION Autumn and get all of the goodies I have missed or let wait recently.

I finally got my first wonderful DEEP-CUT Studio Game Mat! I am going to get more of these now that I know what I have suspected for years; this company makes great tabletop gear! This mat is going to be great for all of my games because I like settings like Lovecraft's seaside horror settings and of course cool planets for STAR WARS LEGION and my MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL settings and so forth.

COLLECTION DIARY: JUNE 2018

It's a Dirty Black Summer... again; so I hunted up some NICE Eldritch Horror miniatures, and terrain models for my Eldritch Horror Extreme Skirmish Game... to defy Miserable Summer! Hurry up and come back home Autumn!

I purchased a few neat little items this month for my Good ECO and Evil Bogger, Deep, and Vampire gangs! I have been thinking about Character-Gang boards for my game, and decided the Ultimate Guard 14 pocket sheets will work very well. I happily also finally found a very cool fence setup that I like and can use with all of my Lovecraftian terrain. I hunted up some very nice deals on a pair of O Scale old school model house too this month, and more vehicles for my Dunwich and Arkham Environments!

I have been looking around for a nice YT-1300 Light Freighter model for my LEGION Terrain... for a while now. I decided to get the silly force awakens version after I saw a video review of it where the owner had black washed it and made it look great. I also stumbled on another wacky toy recently that will become my REBEL BD-A7... cause reasons! The nice lights set is going to be used for lighting some of my Legion buildings and as fire/explosion tokens.

Happy Collecting Boss out!

BOSS' HORROR SHOP: ELDRITCH ENVIRONMENTS - DUNWICH VILLAGE PROJECT PREVIEW

I have been haply buying some good Raw Terrain materials and badass Building Kits for my Eldritch Extreme Project to make the main locales in HPL's best stories. I am at the point now where I can get to building Complete Environments! Dunwich Village is going to be first and the rest afterwards!

The classic old Plasticville model kits are better than you think... if you are willing to work on them. I am...

The General Dry Goods
In the story the dry goods is run in the main hall of the ruined church. The villagers basically removed the pews and put up shelves and a counter in the old building to run a small general store. In my setting it will be in the center of the village square.

The Old Cathedral
The combination dead church-active general store deal is fine in the story, but for my gaming I want to have an actual functioning church in my setting because there are some good people in the village. These rustic heroes need to have a place of refuge to gather when they have to plan actions against the horrid things that come down from the hills; out of the dark woods, and from the cold river.

The Rickety Covered Bridge
The first thing you see after noting the hills rising in the distance from out of the forest is this creepy old bridge. Once you cross it you know you are in the heart of Dunwich... beware and be soon gone! This simple terrain feature is going to be a lot of fun in my games. What may be waiting for you there; on, in, or under this dubious structure... especially when you are in haste?

The Moldering Farms Of Dunwich
The countryside of Dunwich is dotted with several ancient farms. These structures are a key point of action and often serve as shelters for things to monstrous to think of...

The Ancient Village
The buildings throughout Dunwich are bordering on relics rather than houses. I have decided to use The GW Hobbit Laketown houses (with modifications of course) to represent The Village properly. This is going to be a lot of fun work. I have not purchased these sets yet, and I still need to get a nice Windmill model too. The white building pictured below is how most of my Dunwich Houses will look.

This unabridged version of The Dunwich Horror is beyond great, it is a masterpiece in fact and one of the best Lovecraft audio plays that I know of... period. Check it out My Lovely Creeps!

Much more to come...

COLLECTION DIARY: SEPTEMBER 2017

I have been replacing many of my old crap Mansions Of Madness Investigator models and this month I hit the peak of glory with The Godfather set and some more Zombicide coolness too! With these new goodies added to the many The Others Heroes and Reaper Miniatures Hero models I think I am just about done collecting The Good Guys for my ELDRITCH EXTREME Project. I also got a few cool NPC's that have been hard to find in stock for my Baddies Characters... SO Horrible!

I purchased a good number more excellent O (1:48th) Scale building kits for my wonderful Eldritch Environments Terrain; mostly to build Dunwich Village and to finish my huge old-crepstir Haunter Cathedral.

Then there is the evil that is the pricey and wonderfully new STAR WARS: LEGION Terrain Project... these 1:48th scale vehicles are going to cover much of what I want to build for the badass featured terrain pieces; $125 bucks well spent.

COLLECTION DIARY: JUNE 2017

Some new goodes full of creep goodness came into the shops this month so I happily grabbed a few things that I have been wanting for awhile now.

The Others NEW Expansions and Mansions Of Madness reprinted Expansion One are now a part of my Horror Collection and I am happy about that... "Come To Me My Lovely Evil Children!"

I hunted down a few more Special Gang Members miniatures for my Eldritch Extreme project. This month's buying has filled in a lot of cool slots for the gangs I am building, and now I need to start getting them all on nice bases, which is why I have a whole bunch of the very good Reaper Display Base packs too.

I have wanted to get these super cool Gothic Building kits for some time now, but like the newly available MOM Expansion they kept me wanting. This month the stars went right and now I have these badass raw goods to build some of my extra special Eldritch Environments. These sets will work particularly well for my Streets Of Arkham (By Night); Haunter Of The Dark, and other cool lonely and treacherous settings.

COLLECTION DIARY: MAY 2017

I went All Out CREEP this month... Hee-Haa-Hoo, Evil... Evil... Evil Eldritch Horror Glory in muggy, overcast May!

The first nice bulk order of building supplies for my Eldritch Environments projects came in and now that I have these goodies in hand they look perfect for all of my evil little in scale dollhouses.

I hunted down some very cool limited edition and star player miniatures from Black Plague and Lobotomy board games which I have had an eye on for a while. I finished the miniatures for this month with a whole bunch of large bases for all of these cool monsters.

A glorious Innsmouth Lighthouse and more nice Iris large storage cases for the new small and medium sized Eldritch Environment buildings and trees and such like.

I am going to be working on a whole lot of creep-cool projects this summer and having a ball inside; under my air conditioner, and behind my black curtains as I happily avoid the sun and the stupid summer-sheeple.

BOSS' HORROR SHOP: ELDRITCH ENVIRONMENTS PROJECT... SO IT BEGINS!

Now that I have a very good collection of Eldritch Horror Miniatures and the game components from Mansions Of Madness and The Others I am going to start working on bringing my Horror Gaming into the realm of traditional tabletop skirmish.

I have been all over X & Attack Wing-a-dings and it is cool and fun... but I am ready to get back into my Classic Tabletop Lovin!

I ordered a decent amount of raw scale building supplies today to get this project on the table for Autumn 2017. My little 30MM Miniatures need some cool deadly doll houses to run and creep around... lol.
