  Having played these games for 30+ years I removed all of the stupid from this game system way back when I first started! Thus for me and mine these little children's updates are laughable Wait for us to tell you what to do with a game that you payed for and own... NOPE!  It is cute however to see these gurlz "fix stuff" that they stupidly designed... I am posting this as a record of the games history. They did make a few things betters for funzies, and it only took a few years to get round to it.

I have been on the edge and almost completely checked out of the mouse-wars shows, but Mando has been worth my time. I am happy to have a good collection now celebrating this FUN little bit of modern REAL STAR WARS!

I have been taking a while to build up my LEGION SCUM - HUTT CARTEL collection, and now that we have the new range coming at some point, I finished up buying the older models that I like. I am going to have Sabine and her Mando friends in both REBEL and SCUM Factions.

GW TECHNICAL TERRAIN IS GREAT!

The many ways to make great terrain with the NEW Gang Stronghold set is absolutely wonderful FUN! If you want some good ideas for using this set alone or with other GW sets, then this is going to be a very helpful article for you! I am using The Gang Stronghold and my other SCI-FI terrain kits to make all kinds of cool tech-places! As of this year I now have all kinds of options for my MARVEL COSMIC, DUNE, STAR WARS: LEGION, and STAR TREK MISSIONS games. 

BOSS SHOP: COSMIC MONSTERS - NIGHTSTALKER DREAD-FIEND!

Mantic Games is about to release a new monster for their fantasy range! To my eye this NIGHTSTALKER DREAD-FIEND is also absolutely perfect as a horrifying SPACE MONSTER ... waiting in the cold dark of the cosmic wilderness.

I am going to happily add this crazy-cool (NOT just-another Tyranid rip-off) Space Monster to my Marvel Cosmic Protocol, Star Trek Missions and Star Wars Legion and of course Mansions Of Madness Collections! This wonderful model will be released July 27th!

THE BEST MONSTERS ARE OFTEN COSMIC... OH YAH!

COLLECTION DIARY: MAY 2020

I got a few nice Imperials over recent months during the glory of my Marvel Crisis/Cosmic Protocol collecting. I am always going to love Real STAR WARS. The spotty inventory has been an issue too. I am going to make it a STAR WARS LEGION Autumn and get all of the goodies I have missed or let wait recently.

I finally got my first wonderful DEEP-CUT Studio Game Mat! I am going to get more of these now that I know what I have suspected for years; this company makes great tabletop gear! This mat is going to be great for all of my games because I like settings like Lovecraft's seaside horror settings and of course cool planets for STAR WARS LEGION and my MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL settings and so forth.

COLLECTION DIARY: HALLOWEEN 2019

This month I got serious with collecting models for my crazy (FUN!!!) STAR TREK Skirmish Game Project! I got back up to date on many of the NEW LEGION Expansions too!

I am treating my STAR TREK MISSIONS Skirmish Game as LEGION Game Expansions, as far as the rules are concerned. I am going to use my own house rules for solo-gaming which is what the Ascendancy Dice are for. It is cool to have TREK DICE for the various STAR TREK factions!

Just like in STAR WARS LEGION, STAR TREK MISSIONS will have some cool thematic terrain... and yes you can find scale models for that extra immersive badass Trek-look on the table... Yah Babes!

Oh Yah... Dat REBEL Base!

I found this cool and classic Hoth Base on good ole EBay for less than $30 delivered! This is a great piece to buildup my nice expansive Rebel Base table! I am going to use the nice BANDAI Effects set for damage tracking for all of my Bases, and to add some extra-cool visuals... CAUSE!

FFG ANNOUNCES STAR WARS LEGION PAINT SETS!

Fantasy Flight has made a nice arrangement with Army Painter to produce official STAR WARS LEGION Paint Sets! I am going to buy these because I had intended to buy the 50 colors paint set from AP later this year... this is kinda fun and funny and very cool! COLLECTION DIARY: SEPTEMBER 2018

This month I got my STAR WARS: LEGION Wasteland Scave and Techno Mutant Factions purchases completed. I picked up a good bit of additional model kits for my Wasteland Terrain which is primarily going to serve as bases for these two crazy factions!

I got some cool new Iris Project storage cases this month too, specifically for all of my new LEGION Terrain.

FFG WILL (AT LEAST) MAKE THE BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR LEGION

FFG recently announced CLONE WARS for Legion at Gen Con and that pretty much ends the speculation of a SCUM & VILLAINY Faction in LEGION. This is mildly disappointing but fine because there are plenty of great models available on the market to build a HUTT Cartel or Black Sun Faction! The fun reality is that FFG will in all likelihood still make all of the tremendously popular Bounty Hunters.

Based on the above examples of art, and compared with the FFG Boba model it is clear that Bossk will be next! It is only common sense then to expect IG-88 after that and so on... Fantasy Flight has always liked to spoil future products in current art after all.

I am going to have a lot of fun making my own Cool Boss LEGION Factions!

COLLECTION DIARY: AUGUST 2018

I have been building a HUTT Cartel with several cool little purchases over the months because I want to have these one of a kind toys in MY Star Wars Universe. This month I got the Hutt's Share of the classic models to make this a full army!

I made the same big purchases for my Techno Mutants Faction this month too. Part of the Techno Mutants background is that they crashed on some Outer Rim planets when they fled the newly founded Empire. I am going to build some neat faction specific ship wreckage for their terrain, and the crazy GW Killzone and 40K kits suite me just fine for the bones of the project!

I am going to have five complete Boss Shop Legion Factions with just as much unit diversity for game play as the Rebels and Imperials will have by years end! Once everything FFG has previewed is in our hands we are going to have fun options... but this is STAR WARS and I need more of what I know and love in this game!

BOSS SHOP: LEGION - REBEL BD-A7 HEAVY TANK PROJECT PREVIEW

I am staring the work on the many little extras The BD-A7 has access to this week. I was almost surprised to see just how much 40K bits I own. I have been squirreling away these parts over the months since LEGION was announced. I think I have enough raw plastic to make some cool looking tank configurations now... with plenty of options!

Some of the bits pictured here are going to serve double duty as BD-A7 weapons and defense emplacements for my various bases. These options are possible by magnetizing the joining points, which is kinda awesome!

The tank has Hard Points and Tech Cons at the sides and rear of the main deck (turret - gun housing) and along the sides of the main deck (Luke is standing on the main deck).

The rear transport compartment has the capacity to carry a six troop strong squad or a two troop operated heavy weapon team. I am going to add some lights and an anti troop grenade launcher above the door.
