The Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Earth's Mightiest Core Set update looks good. I'll be getting this update, because it is a fun set, and a good value if you want to get a lot of nice new models and a variety of bits from the new terrain kits released over the last few years.

I am very happy to now own my first models for MARVEL KNIGHTS! Yeah I know the TMNT ain't really Marvel but in My Marvel Game Universe they are perfectly at home within the setting.
I got these wonderful models from Brother Vinni's all the way over in Russia. It only took a month for them to be delivered and that is lightning fast in my experience, more especial with the crazy "Corvett-Sum-Mah" going on.
$35 bucks very well spent... Yah I got my TURTLE POWER Baby!
I am expanding my MCP Collection to enrich my scenarios and to play better games! In these epics our heroes will fight a sprawling pitched battle across a very thematic game board. OHhh YAHhh!
TECHRONOUGHTS
Robots and Cyborgs have been in the marvel universe since the start! I love this sort of coolness thus I am going to have several Murder Machines in my Cosmic Games! Sure AMG started up MCP with Ultron and that is cool, but one ultra meanie ain't enough for me! One of the best Evil Machines series ever made is Berserkers and I am going to build a little faction with that whole Terminators In Space theme. This Evil Faction is going to be all sorts of fun.
TYRANT MERCURIO
Every good game universe has plenty of cool baddies to give our heroes a variety of things to do. I love the adorable little meanie Lord Mercurio from Venom-SK. The fact that the VSK comic's team decided to use well known Miniatures Games designs to inspire their designs for the comic made Mercurio's faction an easy must add for me! Soon I am going to be able to play some awesome EPIC Battles like we all know and love from the films and better comic stories!
This comic series is not a masterpiece but it IS Fun and gave me more material to draw upon to build my Marvel Cosmic Protocol collection based on actual Marvel stories that entertain me. The reviewer in this video is a fucking nut... and yet manages to present a funny little overview of the Mercurio storyline. You can also watch his entire VENOM Series... it is cool and will entertain you for hours.
I am really enjoying hunting down cool models that work for my Marvel Cosmic Protocol Collection! By adding Factions, rather than half a dozen models per affiliation, I will be able to do much more with MCP! I am not keen on just playing a wrestling game... NOPE. My MCP EPIC Games are going to be Badass-FUN!
I am very pleased to finally have the first wave of Marvel Cosmic in my MCP Collection! I have a great start on the good guys and some nice Cosmic Ships and Terrain! The adventures begin with Star-Lord; Nova Corps Rangers, and special guest star Lobo with their Spaceships!
The forces of good and decent neutrals are of course supported by Rocket Raccoon and Groot! I am going to have so much fun with these heroes and adventures flying and fighting in the Cosmic Playground I am making for them!
Cosmic Terraine... Oh Yah Babes! Also some space battles are going to happen in my games! Mercs, particularly Ravagers and Hostile Aliens! I have some fun models from The Walking Dead range for use as Colonist and Spaceport workers!
I grew up with HEAVY METAL Magazine, and the cool weird American space and science fantasy comics like STAR WARS, THOR, MICRONAUTS, and other such mind opening adventure universes.
I am one of the MCU Fans that loves almost everything that has been done in the films since BLADE. It is the good stuff that teaches children how to be good adults with a sense of adventure and heroism. It is all so damn good! The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY stands at the top for me! Rocket Raccoon just makes me smile (and cry) and reminds me to keep safe my very wise and happy soul!
The Asguardians are wonderful, but I LOVE The GOTG More... Yah Baby! Thor was right to want to hang with The Guardians. I am delighted with all of these beloved characters because they form The MARVELOUS MARVEL COSMIC, which is my favorite MARVEL playground! 🤗💙🌠
I made a little banner just for the occasion of GOTG WAVE ONE's Release this Friday 13th! It was fun little project. Adam at Blackfyre is a good game buddy and he likes to have fun with MARVEL too! Thanks for your regular postings of quality content my MCP Brother!
BUT... Ha-Ha Drax and Ronan look terrible... just MEH! Drax looks like an old man daddy that used to play football. Ronan looks okay but he is literally a dressed-down Doctor Doom with a hammer. Sorry gang but I have to fix these too guys. Gamora's look is based directly on the comics too but she actually looks great in her battle gear.
The comics and movies merged the two worlds well, and I love the look of everybody from the films, so I am going to bring that design to my MCP GOTG Collection including Nova Corps and Sakaaran Troopers... cause I can do that.
I do not want my beloved Groot to always have his right arm in the ground and his left arm acting as a shield. I am going to use the arms from the nice Marvel 2.5" Minifig to give Groot magnetized arm swapping options! I am going to do the same thing with Rockets little footsies so he can be on a verity of bases and not have to ride that crazy tendril all the time.
Hurray new Vipers! I did not go crazy on these because MkVII's are scarce in the fleet.
I felt like Ultron's minions needed to be represented in an Ultimate Encounter game, and these crazy little Alternate Ultrons are perfect! Since I upgraded Ultron I of course had to do the same for Tony with his Hulk Buster and Battle car! Being me I also needed to have a cool model for Professor HULK... cause it helps me to sleep like a baby!
AMG posted their video version of Atomic Mass Transmission for Starlord this week! I do not like watching the twitch live version of these because the YouTube video version just plays smoother.
We already knew what Starlord will be able to do from the early preview... but listening to the excitement in the AMG oral presentation makes it even more awesome. The team did great with Mr. Quill and I am certain that the rest of The Guardians are all going to be awesome too!
As of this post; STARLORD, ROCKET and GROOT are scheduled to release March 13th!
Comicbookdotcom post a very nice early look at STAR LORD... Man! I am very happy to see that AMG did our coolest MARVEL COSMIC Hero justice... he is going to Rock 'n Roll and Dance all over the tabletop... I... LOVE... IT!
I appreciate that Atomic Mass has decided to go with the likenesses of the Marvel characters from the comics. That is going to be okay for most of these excellent miniatures. In other cases I am going to do conversions to make my favorite (and least favorite) personalities look how I want them to look. First up is one of the best female cahacters to grace the silver screen in this decade: Scarlett Johansson's BLACK WIDOW!
