ANOTHER GLORIOUS DAY IN THE CORPS EXPANDS THIS FALL

We're In The Pipe, Five By Five Expansion // Aliens

This set comes with two more characters for you to use when building your Fireteam alongside updated missions, Alien Variants (awesome!), new Experience Paths to go down and additional Hive Cards which can spice up your gameplay.

Maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to extract your team before the deadly alien threat manages to overrun you and your allies. I like that we're getting the Alien Variants in the mix as well just to play around with things a little more.

It's awesome to see the game coming back to shelves properly in June and getting expansions in September. I can see a lot of folks snapping up these sets and enjoying a Summer or survival against a horde of Xenomorphs!  I could also see a lot of folks taking both the Fireteam miniatures and the Xenomorphs to make up fun scenarios in the likes of Stargrave or perhaps Xenos Rampant!

ALIENS ANOTHER GLORIOUS DAY IN THE CORPS SUMMER RERELEASE!

After a long stint in hypersleep, Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps will once again be “coming out of the goddam walls” and onto FLGS shelves and online retailers all around the world from June 2023.

The game will be returning in English, German, Italian, Polish, French AND Spanish

COLLECTION DIARY: JANUARY 2023

I am very happy to have these wonderful new models for my ALIENS COLLECTION! I got the sexy Marine APC from Eaglemoss literally a week before they closed up for business. It was only $40 and I felt like it was to much of a good deal at the time... and I was right.

Arnie and Jessi look like they stepped right out of PREDATOR... and so does the... Predator.

BOSS SHOP: UPDATED COSMIC TERRAIN PART 1

After years of playing cool ass STARSHIP BATTLES... I felt like it was time to get some old projects completed, and to add some all new galactic goodies to my terrain setup.

   I love these cool little planet and moon models.  

I decided to use cute little stackable bathroom storage canasters for their bases, which are sturdy, steady, and look great. The extra cool effect of these canister-bases is that their smokey black finish works perfectly on the table. and gives the planet-moon models the look of actually floating in deep (dark) space. If I want to put a model like these in a lighter sky I will use the clear version of these little canisters.

This article covers part one of the project. I will be getting other COSMIC TERRAIN models and related items and showing you many completed models that I have been working on... soon. 

Verity is the spice of life!

The February Collection Diary and this month's diary mirror each other very well. I have The Black Order now and more Xenomorphs too so it has been a couple of fun months for my EVIL TOYS.

COLLECTION DIARY: FEBRUARY 2021

I finally own all of the fun little Sakaaran models I have been hunting down over the last year to make my MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL MCP EVIL Faction: Ronan! This is not a full army of course but I am not trying to do that. I am making MY MCP a fun-ass Skirmish game. Three (bug)man squads and their leaders and support will make for a plenty badass force to recon with... just like in Dat Bad Ass GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Movie... 

YAH! I am very happy about it in a way these "Viable" crybabies that play MCP exactly as it is dished out to them by AMG will never understand. Of course I am not the only old-school hobbyist that does what they want to do with their toys... and that makes me happy.

Another beloved Sci-Fi Universe that begs to be advanced beyond the core game (which I pretty much love as it is now) is good ole ALIENS. This month I got the start on expanding the game with models that I feel will work great to represent some of the advanced Marine tech we know and love from the GLORIOUS DARK HORSE ALIENS Comics.

GF9 COLONIAL MARINE APC PREORDER

GF9 just posted the official announcement for their version of the Colonial Marines APC. We do not know yet if this model is going to function as another game token replacement to be used in the same fashion as their Assets & Hazards set. The APC preorder is setup and you can buy this kit now... up to four months early.

If you guys wanted a nicer picture of the Another Glorious Day In The Corps APC without the white showing, I made a little edited version for this article in a few minutes... because. 🤓 Now lets hope they make a Dropship, which is the model we all want more because there are a dozen other options available for the beloved little APC already! 😍

I had to buy all of The ALIENS Goodies... this NEW Sci-Fi-HORROR Game makes me very happy!!!

The beloved little heroic VALKYRIE has finally joined my Colonial Fleet.

I even got that ONE GOOD SHIP from that show that does not exist... it's a cool ship and for $10 bucks she got me to finally allow her to join my GLORIOUSE Boss' BIG Approved Federation Fleet.

HEXBUG SPACE TOYS FOR ALIENS COLLONY TERRAIN... YES!

I just discovered this toy line after members of GF9 ALINES posted asking about other terrain options for the game. I have looked at all of the boxed sets and I agree that the scale and detail looks good. I am getting a test set next month. If it is solidly constructed and indeed in the right scale I may buy more... I will have an update on this in a few weeks.

APC FOR ALIENS: ANOTHER GLORIOUS DAY IN THE CORPS

I found this BIG-badass ALIENS APC from Lanard toys this week after buying all of the GF9 ALIENS Game. This version of the classic Marine APC is a delightful monster and it looks wonderful to me. Sure this model needs a very simple and cool dirty repaint, but other than that she looks perfect for what I want her to be. See that cool APC video below, and look at how big and bad that sexy-mean-baby is... Hell YES!

I looked at the nice Eaglemoss APC first of course and it is more realistic to the films and is in scale for 30MM miniatures. I decided that owning two of these bulkier badass APC's for just $20 bucks each makes me happier than owning just one slightly nicer APC for $80 bucks. 😋 

The ALIENS Universe has become huge over the last thirty years and there is way more going on than just what was covered in this one great film. There are other vehicles and variants that are just as cool as the first sweet APC that we all love. 

A WHOLE LOT OF ALIENS - GF9 ALIENS EXPANSIONS!

If you are onboard for larger games of The ALIENS Another Glorious Day game then you will like these expansions! I think it is cool that GF9 did this because now you can get extra Marines and Aliens on their own. I do not plan to buy from the GF9 store however because it's a little antique monster. I buy with PayPal for obvious reasons, but for the rest of you... Go Rock! I am going to buy these wonderful expansions from my regular online shops.
