COLLECTION DIARY: SEPTEMBER 2018

This month I got my STAR WARS: LEGION Wasteland Scave and Techno Mutant Factions purchases completed. I picked up a good bit of additional model kits for my Wasteland Terrain which is primarily going to serve as bases for these two crazy factions!

I got some cool new Iris Project storage cases this month too, specifically for all of my new LEGION Terrain.

THE ARES BSG FBG IS WORTHY!

In my continuing quest to find all good things related to BATTLE STAR GALACTICA: STARSHIP BATTLES I am happy to report that I found the newly founded ARES BSG FBG this week! This is a fun group thus far and I recommend joining if you want to hangout with good people who all love BSG!

This Facebook group is ARES Official and Roberto is actually a member... so that makes it extra cool! The discussions cover both The Original Series and The Reimagined Series. In my brief membership there the group has doubled in size!

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA STARSHIP BATTLES: NEW IMAGES & ROBERTO VIDEO!

The ARES BSG Starter Set Page posted some wonderful clean images of the forthcoming game components last week. Mr. Roberto Di Meglio just posted a preview of the Game Tray the other day on his personal FB Page... and I love the goodies. I am all on board and excited for this delightful new game! XW2 can wait until 2019...

Now that the BSG Game Section is up and running as of last week I have been hunting down additional content and found this delightful video featuring Roberto telling us all about the BSG SSB Gameplay

How can you not love this wonderfuly charming man? I understood every word he shared with us... such a delightful watch. Go WATCH IT My Star Brothers & Sisters!

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: EAGLEMOSS MODELS - EPIC SCALE GAME!

I am all in with the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA STARSHIP BATTLES game and thus will do what I normally do, which is to get cool backdrop models for my larger game scenarios. I started with opening a Eaglemoss (USA) BATTLESTAR COLLECTION!

Ares has opened up their BATTLESTAR Section of the site today in preparation for the launch of the forthcoming BATTLESTAR GALACTICA STARSHIP BATTLES!

FFG updated their evil "Upcoming" section of the site... and guess what...

STAR WARS LEGION WAVE 3 IS ON THE BOAT!

FFG WILL (AT LEAST) MAKE THE BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR LEGION

FFG recently announced CLONE WARS for Legion at Gen Con and that pretty much ends the speculation of a SCUM & VILLAINY Faction in LEGION. This is mildly disappointing but fine because there are plenty of great models available on the market to build a HUTT Cartel or Black Sun Faction! The fun reality is that FFG will in all likelihood still make all of the tremendously popular Bounty Hunters.

Based on the above examples of art, and compared with the FFG Boba model it is clear that Bossk will be next! It is only common sense then to expect IG-88 after that and so on... Fantasy Flight has always liked to spoil future products in current art after all.

I am going to have a lot of fun making my own Cool Boss LEGION Factions!
