As most of us understand how secure cities work I am of course continuing my CITY TECH layout with the Military Buildings of my city. These are the buildings strategically positioned to protect population zones, and factory and transit facilities. 

I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to be getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is about time I got busy on building a few BATTLETECH Environments.

As most of us understand how secure cities work I am of course continuing my CITY TECH layout with the Military Buildings of my city. These are the buildings strategically positioned to protect population zones, and factory and transit facilities. 

I love this Garrison model! I will be using an assortment of weapons and devices in the hardpoints.

I will be using this cool little secured Hex Wall storage area for all of my B-Tech settings but it had to start in one of these articles so here it is looking cool and cute! I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to be getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is about time I got busy on building a few BATTLETECH Environments.

I love how modular these building are. HARDWEAR STUDIOS is going to be getting a lot of my attention for the rest of the year. I have had my Nerd-eye on these cool models for awhile now and it is about time I got busy on building a few BATTLETECH Environments.

This is one of the awesome songs that hotshot ComStar Mech Warriors play while working the hard job of being Heroic Protectors of ComStar Properties and The Inner Sphere.

COLLECTION DIARY: JUNE 2022

I have built a decent collection for my COM🌠STAR - ARCHANGEL⭐GUARD now. This Diary covers about half of what I own for both forces, and all of the Angel Glory introduced in my Special Forces PART 3 article.

My main COM🌠STAR force needed three BLACK 🤍💞🖤 KNIGHTS!

The AEROFORCE is 100% in the hanger now...

...and so are the SEEKER FORCES!

I have many COM🌠STAR Mechs scattered in CGL boxes and Etsy prints to organize yet...

The DEATH RAY DESIGNS new STEEL RIFT range is a great collection of alternate Mechs and I and very happy to have them for my Com Star Archangels! I took another look at the whole range after posting AG Part 3, and decided that the Fennec also had a place in the army.

I am using the The Finder (renamed Fennec) to fill the role of a heavy troopers rapid assault team.

DEATH RAY DESIGNS has launched their new STEEL RIFT range!

I have been looking at many Mechs from Death Ray and Strato Minis companies for alternate mechs that look like Archangels and also fit wonderfully into the NEW Battletech universe. I have them now... starting with these wonderful STEEL RIFT Mechs!

My partner Robbie has the entire glorious rang in his store now!

BOSS' BATTLETECH: TANKS - MODEL PREP PARTY!

I am finally at the point in my all NEW Battletech Collecting where I can work on units as a series of several cool little manageable art projects.. I prefer that because it is how I build my collections and stay excited about it all.. 

One extra-thing buying all of this Battletech goodness has done is get my knowledge up on 3Dprints. I used to hate seeing these print lines, even from good printers. Now I have gotten over it as long as these little artifacts are not to egregious.

I always wash my models, particularly 3DPrints because I am allergic to the fumes. I wet sand the defects for this same reason. I have learned to spot all of the issues with just water and soap. Later when it is time to prime these wonderful little toys I find that they are just about perfect. 

Print lines do not scare me much anymore... and in some cases I kind of love them.

BOSS' BATTLETECH: TANKS PART 7

  As my regular B6*R7 Fliers know I plan stuff out as I buy the toys and such. I have been doing that for my renewed BATTLETECH babies for six fun months. Now that I have most of my MECHS, AEROSPACE, and TROOPS setup and just waiting for me to buy all of them.

It is the time for a HOVER TANKS episode! 

The Hover Tanks in Battletech are crazy and full of odd-ball designs. I have hunted down models that I think look badass and are just cool. The Svantovit is the best looking Inner Sphere craft for my taste and thus I wanted miniatures that look close to that style of vehicle. 

The Clan Hover Tanks are a mix of crazy and classic designs in my collection. The Hephaestus and Luduan are good examples of wild looking tanks that will contrast very well with their good guy counters. I wanted to be sure to get some of that diversity and fun flavor in my Clan armies!

BOSS' BATTLETECH: TANKS PART 6

 As my regular B6*R7 Fliers know I plan stuff out as I buy the toys and such. I have been doing that for my renewed BATTLETECH babies for six fun months. Now that I have most of my MECHS, AEROSPACE, and TROOPS setup and just waiting for me to buy all of them.

It is the time for a LRM TANKS & CARRIERS episode! 

I love Missile Tanks! This episode was rather difficult for me to put together because there are so damn many models out there to represent these badasses. I have my eye on a few more and The Archangels have their own crazy tanks already. These are my favorites of everything I have looked at over the last several months and I am going to buy many of them. I decided that Clan Jade Falcon is going to do without these tanks because I am running them with only a few fast attack and support ground vehicles.

 

Among the various Tracked Combat Vehicles there are many types and styles of LRM CARRIERS  These powerful machines are capable of firing all sorts of ARROW Ordnance, and they are to be expected on all battlefields of The Inner Sphere.

The series of AREO and OMNI Space Fighters are full of crazy craft...and I love several of them. For the purposes of my TOTAL WAR Battletech games I have decided to pick about a half dozen craft to populate my air and space battlefields. The designs are all similar, thus I quickly determined the best thing to do was to just get models that I like and look right for the B-TECH universe.

According to some of the history Com Star and most of the major houses use many of the same Areospace Fighters. I am using LAMs and my updated versions of the Corsair with crazy WOB Archangel like OmniFighters that look absolutely badass.
 I like my chosen Space Wizards craft a lot. They all suite my taste and fit much of the B-Tech art.

The Archangels Areospace Forces use the best equipment available including the newer Archangel OmniFighters, VTOL Gunships, specialized LAMs, and heavy APCs which are a much heavier Striga design. The AG-Agents and their Troopers are dropped into the heat of battle with an array of Battlesuits, Stealth Tech, and powerful new weapons.

The #ARCHANGELGUARD rises from the ashes of #COMSTAR and #WORDofBLAKE 

This digital painting was another of my fun little #BATTLETECH weekend projects. I spent about six hours re-painting/editing the original COMSTAR image featuring my boy Anastasius Focht  My new Archangel Guard version introduces my ComStar character Alexander Taylor. Alexander is Precentor Martial of the new Archangel Guard.🤍⚡🖤

I love that the Archangel Tanks and Angel APC's look like they were built to go with my Special Force. Brothers notice how these brand new tanks have plating that goes crazy just like the armor on the actual Archangel Mechs. Look at the winglets on the badass Aero-angel-craft! They look just like they will function similarly to how the back and shoulder winglets of the Archangels! Then as if this was not enough... the Missileers have the dam-fine chest-torso styling of the Archangels. GLORY UPON GLORY! 🤍⭐🖤

The Angels already have their own BATTLE HYME too... The badass ending where Andy slays with his guitar is the last sound enemies of ComStar and The Inner Sphere will ever hear.
