BOSS' LOTR: ANGMAR BLACK ORCS - THE NEW AOS ROR TRAILER IS FUN!

The brand NEW Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin: Gameplay Trailer showed my chosen badass BLACK ORCS for my updated better looking LOTR game miniatures, and I had to smile seeing them in these nice looking animations.

I found more wonderful new alternate miniatures for my ME-SBG this week! I love The BLACK NUMENOREANS 💀⚔🔮🖤 These models are just as beautiful and terrible as the GW versions but there are actually foot versions to go with the mounted figures! 🤗🛒💞 I am silly-happy.

BOSS' LOTR: ANGMAR BLACK ORCS

I have a lot of cool and appropriately creepy ideas for my ANGMAR BLACK ORCS. These concepts and models are right out of REAL TOLKIEN, and will replace most of the core GW Orc troops. I hate the frumpy orc models that GW keeps allowing to linger 20 years past their time. It is glaringly obvious to most of us non-historical gamers that the fantastic modern  AOS models are based directly off the LOTR books and WETA Middle-Earth concepts. All of this beckons me do the right thing by my LOTR collection.

The GW Isengard army is fine. I am only adding a few extras to it, but more on that later.

It is worth looking at WETA on some of the better art sites. You will see many critters that look like GW AOS models and things that are based on some of the deep and frankly obscure Tolkien concept notes in his letters. Grandfather talks about things that he wanted to do with all of the factions, but just could not figure out how to add them into the text of the actual stories...

I just found this good painting channel full of AOS painting demo videos for many of the models that I am using for my LOTR Games! These are helpful since I have not dived deeply into the whole Contrast Painting jungle just yet... but I'm about to!

It took me twenty years or so to actually buy into this game but I am happy I finally did... SO IT BEGINS!

BOSS' LOTR: MY ANGMAR WARG CAVALRY! 🐺💞🌕

I happily spent the weekend working on this fun little LOTR painting, after seeing the NEW Wolf Riders preview on Saturday. I knew at first sight that these cool models would be my WARG RIDERS for ANGMAR! I never liked the wargs for this game, and now GW has finally fixed that nagging issue.

Here are a few closeups of the background elements. These tiny details are a joy for me to paint.

This is my first run at converting the new models to look like Orcs rather than Goblins. 

The NEW Gloomspite Gitz Snarlfangs are going to be awesome as my WARG RIDERS. It's about time GW released some actual cool looking Wolf-steeds for my beloved Angmar Warg Orc Cavalry!

BOSS' LOTR: WEREWOLVES AND VAMPIRES OF MIDDLE-EARTH (LORE & MINIATURES) 🐺💞🦇

I am going to add several Minor Heroes and Monsters into my LOTR Miniatures collection.

I love the fact that Middle-earth contains everything that I love about Dark Heroic Fantasy!

It is a joy to have miniatures that look almost exactly like the better dark LOTR artwork!

My LOTR: Middle-Earth SB GAME collection is going to look great!

I have not made up my mind yet about what I will use for Gûlavhar - The Terror of Arnor.
