BANDAI PREVIEWS THEIR NEW 1/44 SCALE IMPERIAL AT-AT!

Many of my Star Brothers know that I have been working on my X-WING EPIC LAND WAR Project for a while now, and I have purchased a few very cool AT-AT models. Now here comes BANDAI with their masterpiece version... that looks better than what I already own... Dam-You-Ban-Daiiii!

Hobby Search has a full preview up, they are great at posting as much as info as possible and I like that. This AT-AT is about six inches tall, so it will work great with the Disney Diecast version and the new Revell AT-ACT eight inch model. Looks like some of my beloved old AT-AT's are going to become wonderful battlefield debris now... I am cool with that.

BANDAI ANNOUNCES NEW STAR WARS VEHICLE MODELS!

BANDAI continues to expand their non-scale STAR WARS Vehicle range. These are the models to use if you want to make a scale upgraded X-WING Game, IMO. As the range makes the whole of the original trilogy available... it tempts me more... and more...
The Original Trilogy range started with the X-WING, and recently Y-WINGS. Now this week brings the announcement of TIE Advanced and TIE Fighters which are a paired set due out in February!

BANDAI'S STAR WARS "VEHICLE RANGE"... UH-OH!

Bandai's STAR WARS Vehicle Line is gearing up for releases in 2016. I know some of us have been playing around with the idea to do an up-scaled 1/72 version of X-WING. I looked into and decided that I do not want to go that route because it is going to take up a lot of room... cause you guys know I would not buy just a few of these wonderful models.

Today I spotted the new Vehicles Range... so now I am pondering again.

Bandai did all of the large 1/1000 scale Yamato Models in this cute smaller "Vehicle Scale" so I know goodness gracious me they will do all of their STAR WARS Goodies like that too. I dunno gang this could be the real way to get a large version of X-WING on the table.

Consider this also, there are no reasonably affordable YT-1300's or Firespray-31's out there, that fit the right scale for the 1/72 fighter models. However... (uh-oh) if you went with these cute vehicle scale fighters then the 1/44 scale Falcons & Firesprays are damn near perfect size wise.

This has got me pondering... I will be watching the progression of this new vehicles range closely now I think. Damn you Wonderful Bandai...

THE ALL JAPAN HOBBY SHOW 2015: STAR WARS & YAMATO 2199 GOODIES!

A lot of wonderful new goodies are coming in 2015 & 2016 gang... check out the coverage here and smile.

The STAR WARS & STAR BLAZERS (YAMATO 2199) stuff starts at 30 min. The Force Awakens and some new Original Trilogy Models are on display as well as the new Yamato 2199 Mecha ships.

BANDAI'S STAR WARS 1/72 MODELS COLLECTION!

I have been keeping my eye on this relatively new product range, and waiting for the good people at Bandai to get the BIG Four done; X-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Advanced, and TIE Fighter. Check out the current range at Bandai's STAR WARS Hobby Site.

Bandai just announced the glory that is the forthcoming Y-Wing kit, which doggedly follows the recent TIE Fighter release. Now we can actually set up a super cool display from the one and only masterpiece that is STAR WARS!

Some of us who are extra ridiculous just might play some classic New Hope battles on a grander scale too...
