LOL... GRIMDARK just did a cool STEINER-LYRAN B-Tech Lore video and my edited painting was used, with other great art. I was completely surprised to see this in his excellent video. When I saw that crap painting on the web and saved it I knew I had to "fix it up". I spent about six hours re-painting/editing the title image above for this article's cover, just for fun. 🤗 Now it looks like my beloved STEINERS should look in my view, which is badass and heroic!

I like Death From Above's Battletech game videos, particularly because of the terrain setups they have in every game. Here are a couple of their recent games with all kinds of great looking wilderness and full city environments. The actual games are often fun to watch and I expect that my B6*R7 Fliers will enjoy these videos.

I just found The MechBay Podcast this week. This is a fun and smart show. The guys bring an adult presentation that I prefer to the standard ultra to cool for school idols blah-blahing that are often found online. Good stuff guys! IS Standard Battle Armor

Who's been waiting for this one? More Battle Armor! Inner Sphere Standard this time to face off against the Elementals.

It's not the sexiest piece of armor, but it is in wide spread use and early tech so that all IS players can plausibly use them.

Even the most competent previous artwork for this BA by Matt Plog is 22 years old. Time really flies. With that I decided it was important that the suit look cool and functional before any hamstringing happens out of faithfulness to the old design.
I also wanted to work more of its Elemental BA salvage origins into the design. The proportions of the frame are much more similar (and more realistically fits a human). The lower legs and feet share more design language, the old brick legs had to go.
Even more than the Elemental armor, I think you can look at this concept and really see the man all that armor is strapped around.

I've no idea yet if this will be strictly a force pack item, or if there will be a stretch goal during the KS to also put it in the main Mercenary starter box of the campaign.

The Battletech channel BIG RED 40K just posted a nice little video on some of this news too!

BOSS' BATTLETECH: CLAN WOLF IS COMING

Now that I own some nice Battletech goodies this month and I know I do not have to fuss with the issues of dealing with Catalyst Games and actually collection Battletech I am very happy! I have found some great sellers and my first purchases have been just perfect. It is full steam ahead for buying Muh B-Tech Stuff! 🤗🛒🤖  I want certain mechs in multiples for all of my factions and I can do that now without being mech-blocked anymore. I'm not heating on CGL but I am not going to have a repeat of being very disappointed by a company that cannot supply their products (regardless of the reason) in the way that I reasonably expect them to. I hope Catalyst gets their issues solved. I will of course continue to buy specific game items from them in the future. 💞

I have continued improving my TECH-Lore and have decided CLAN WOLF is going to be my first CLAN Faction. I love the idea of playing badass TOTAL WAR pitched battles between my beloved Germanic Heroes and the ever prowling Ravening Wolves at their border!

BOSS' BATTLETECH: STEINER WEEKEND

I am finally getting some nice Battletech goodies in this month. As I wait for what I purchased this weekend I spent the evenings refreshing my TECH-Lore and have decided that HOUSE STEINER is going to be my first INNER SPHERE Faction.

I 💙 ASSAULT MECHS and thus House Steiner is just right up my alley. I am going to have a nice little army of everything to support them of course because Steiner got smarter as they evolved with the LYRAN COMMONWEALTH.
