COLLECTION DIARY: MAY 2016

I added a brand new monitor to my QVC Account to go with my new computer. I even managed to sneak in TFA Coreset number six (on sale), which I got to do my version of a POE repaint. The week'ish it arrived from Amazon with my diet goodies and vitamins: FFG announced Heroes Of The Resistance. Har-Hee-Hoo!  One of my main Star Brothers sent me some Pops to dress up my new computer table too. I love you Brah!

MANEUVER DIAL ELITE KITS NOW SHIPPING!

I know... it has been six months, and most people have probably forgotten about them, but I love that FFG made these little rascals! 

These neat SWAGies are shipping this week and I am going to happily add a few to my next order. These dials are just nice to have for converted ships and for the general ease of use and coolness factor!

FFG ANNOUNCES NEW MANEUVER DIAL ELITE KITS!

Tired of the old maneuver dials looking beat up? Well Fantasy Flight is going to fix that first thing next year! Check out the goodies in their Ace Maneuvers article posted this week. Kinda cute.

These are going to be great for adding custom ships to our games, rather than trying to get a card printed out nice and clean you can put your favorite maneuver dial into one of these then just make a cute little ship silhouette for the identification image.

I already have all of the ships done as emotes so that just might be some awesomeness.

 Yeah, I might need thirty of these damn sexy rascals... now "FIX" the tokens FFG!

FFG ANNOUNCES NEW FORCE AWAKENS GAME MATS... NICE!

I LOVE ME SOME SWAG... STAR WARS SWAG even better! So these new card-game mats would look great with some wonderful X-WING Paper on 'em. Check out the first set for The Dark Side... they are cool.

Now you know they will have a preview up soon of The Resistance Mats too... right on, right on!

COLLECTION DIARY: SEPTEMBER 2015

This month's Collection Diary brings the whole of glorious Wave Seven to my STAR WARS X-WING & EPIC Fleets, and very nice it is indeed my Star Brothers!

I am going to start making little videos more often including my monthly Collection Diaries, starting now, and I hope you enjoy them.

I hope you all have as much fun with Wave 7 as I have had thus far, it is all killer with game changing coolness!

FFG IS PRODUCING COLOR BASES FOR X-WING!

Some of you may love this. Check out the What Color Is Your Squadron? article to see the NEW Color Bases for X-WING!

Kinda fun and yet way late IMO. For as much as I absolutely love the FFG STAR WARS Miniatures, I am not a fan of their teat-bases.

I have all of the much cooler STAW Bases. They work perfectly for X-WING and they look great. You can not use them in tournament play, but for many of us that does not matter because we play at home and such.

COLLECTION DIARY: MAY 2015

This month I purchased a lot of cool models and toys to bring my X-Wing EPIC collection up to extra-badassery level. Because it is cool... My Wonderful Star Babies!

Now I can build one Large-huge and/or one Small-huge EPIC ship for my SCUM Main-force divided among all Sub-factions; Black Sun, Hutt Cartel, Rim Wraiths, and Mandalorians. That is going to be enough Huge Ships for me to be able to play all kinds of fun EPIC battles... and if FFG makes more then so much the better.

I do not want to go to crazy building new Huge alternate Ship types because Fantasy Flight might actually keep putting out one or two of these big babies each year. I do not think they will... but they might.

The good ole SWAG and Storage-case Factions got a nice extra large Iris case for my new Huge Ships and some good colors of paint for them too. I can probably store three EPIC ships in this case. That will do just fine... for now.

Now that I have a million bits and special parts and a nice storage case, I am going to get back to work on some older projects and these new babies.

COLLECTION DIARY: APRIL 2015

This month i got a few more extra ships to get my X-Wing EPIC Fleets up to par. I almost went extra crazy and got two more YT-1300's and Firespray-31's, but I just got one more of each because I decided to turn my attention to more raw modeling supplies so I can get my EPIC Ships back on the work desk, with warm weather returning... I can do some priming a painting again.

I still need at least one more YT-1300 and like... three more Firespray-31's. I am going to build a HUTT Cartel and Mando characters need to be added to the main SCUM collection. There is still a good supply of both so I can get more next month.

Since I am going to be doing some more serious modeling, which I have been putting off over the winter, I needed a new desk lamp for working and for photography. Also the cute little hairdryer will come in handy for quick drying putty and paint. The crazy-ass Nerf blaster is the base for a new SCUM Huge Ship... it is going to be cool. Thanks for the idea Big-Lee!

I was finally able to get little tokens for my version of tracking Energy and Shields in X-Wing EPIC. I also needed a few more miniatures and some bases for the monsters for my little characters, and a nice S&V Logo for my SCUM Game Box... STAR WARS SWAG is just about glorious!

THE REAL BOBA FETT... YEAH BABIES!!!

Now that the glory that is X-WING WAVE SIX: SCUM & VILLAINY Wave One has made it to good shops everywhere, we can celebrate the return of our favorite bounty hunter... BOBA FETT Is Back & Badass!!! 

The new colored bases from STAW AD&D are perfect for keeping track of the dozens of ships needed in X-WING EPIC. It just looks super cool too.

I am so happy that The Real Boba finally made it back into our sector way out here in The Outer Rim.

For a long time the best bounty hunter in the STAR WARS Universe was lacking a lot of that cool-badness we knew him for in the stories we grew up with... that has been fixed now.

Believe it or not my wonderful Star Brothers, there are some crazy people who like to think they know more than us because they bumble around at tournaments. I have read and listened to podcast where they have have said that the new Boba is weak, and that he is not all that great in fact.

These people are not to be taken seriously... ever.

Boba what do you have to say to these ridiculous meta-yapping know-it-all elitist asses?

NEW X-WING AND ARMADA SWAGIES

FFG previewed their Official Game Mats for X-WING this week. I think new people will like these, but the veterans among us can take them or leave them. They are nice.

 I was happy to see that FFG also released the ARMADA Movement Template. I was considering buy two core sets just to have an extra with the dice, but now you really don't need to.

I have always liked SWAG... it is the little things in life you know.

COLLECTION DIARY: JANUARY 2015

I decided to start the year off with some good ole Imperial ships, and some pretty colored bases for all of my models.

I went crazy after I picked up my second Decimator. Of course I decided that I also needed a few more Interceptors to keep the flanks covered, particularly when I am running both of these wonderful large ships. I am getting a TIE or more a month now until I have at least two dozen for Epic.

The STAW D&D bases are awesomeness... these will be pure glory in my future huge battles for all of my collections. I love that these bases all match the faction I game. Kinda neat!

I grabbed some more bits. the first 40K model stuff I have purchased in fifteen years, to make some STAR WARS ships this year. I will be posting all new videos soon...

STAW goodies are always fun. I am set up to run another Klingon and Romulan Attack Wing with these new additions.

I just ordered all of my toys for February's Collection. I am getting setup to roll out the Boss' Battle Parlor and Boss' Video Shop content for 2015. Videos, and more videos are coming, and better pictures too!
