My STAR WARS people know I love SCUM & VILLAINY just as much as most people love the Rebels and Empire. The Pirate Clans ships are some of the most unique and have excellent diverse squadrons. Pirate Clan fleets are typically comprised of their own command ships but they often use anything else they can get and hire talent from other factions. This is going to be my crazy faction where I get the odd ships that appear in some of the short but cool stories from The OUTER RIM. This is going to be very fun to collect. These cool models are going to be my first Outer Rim Pirate ships!
PIRATE CLANS In its strictest sense, a family (or clan) is a criminal gang, operating either on a unitary basis or as an organized collection of smaller gangs (e.g., cells, factions, crews, etc.). In turn, a family can be a sole "enterprise" or part of a larger syndicate or cartel.
There are all sorts of Star Wars Pirate Fighters out there and I mean to get many of them regardless of setting or era... because Pirates use anything they can get or refit.

| The majority of ships in this digital painting are actual photos of FFG X-Wing Models which I painted over and edited in good ole GIMP. The whole project took about thirty hours or so. I had a lot of fun making this. I have had this type of battle in my head since I was a kid. I have done many drawings of battles I wanted to see in STAR WARS over the years and back in 2015 I made this full color painting of it just because I love it. Now despite FFG and AMG being slack for years; I am finally going to make it happen in ARMADA.  |
