COLLECTION DIARY: SEPTEMBER 2023

 

I have been slowly finding cool models to represent my crazy MCP Evil Factions: TECHRONOUGHTS. I now have a good force of them to use in my glorious  MARVEL COSMIC games. This month's Diary covers half of that faction... more to come, with the completed converted models too of course.

The famous rivalry between two of the deadliest weapons to emerge from the Weapon X Program hits the tabletop with this new pack for Marvel: Crisis Protocol! Logan once counted Sabretooth among his few friends as the pair fought beside one another on a covert team, but Sabretooth’s unslakeable bloodlust tore the team apart, and now they face off as bitter rivals. Featuring beautifully sculpted new miniatures of Logan and Sabretooth, this pack adds new versions of these iconic characters to players’ rosters and introduces the new Weapon X Program Affiliation to Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Additionally, players will also find 6 Team Tactic cards that further enhance Logan and Sabretooth’s abilities as well as several props that allow players to customize their bases.

 I could post the cool BLADE Car and Werewolf and Vampire models I have gathered up, and the new city terrain but without BLADE and the rest of the crew I wanted for this project it is well... it ain't what I planned to do for this years CREEP GLORY.

BOSS SHOP MCP: EVIL FACTIONS - THE FALLEN "SHADOW KRAKIN" PROJECT OVERVIEW

In their early technological advancement The Krakin Race sent many Biotech-probes out into the Cosmic Sea. The Majority made positive contact. Intergalactic and Interstellar relationships were formed. Other Biotech Probe Fleets were lost. The lost survivors adapted to their strange new islands but The Crimson Krakin Council counted them among the lost in a great but deadly endeavor. 

The Crimson Krakin quietly labor to conceal a modern terror: one shadow spawned from their history. 

Sadly many of the lost Biotech Probe Fleets suffered more than the unavoidable tragedy of becoming stranded in deep space! These unfortunate crews became mentally and physically corrupted by their own Transway Drives. In the Shadowed Past of their terrible spawning over the generations since... they have become malevolent and monstrous. Now they are BEGRIME (in the ancient Krakin language). Allies of The Crimson Krakin call these terrors The Fallen or simply Shadow Krakin, and fully understand that they threaten all wholesome life!

"The Fallen are returning to their former Fluidic Paradise. These Begrime Krakin are a Terror of Shadow from our past that shall not rest until they have vengeance for our justified abandonment of them all of the long generations ago... We must be ever watchful."  Nobel Bharin

The approach I have taken to building my beloved Cosmic Aquatic Factions for Marvelous Marvel Cosmic is simple and harkens back to everything that I love from classic fiction. The great classics often explore the story of good and evil battling over the generations and striving for ultimate supremacy. All of my Marvel Cosmic Factions are inspired by these classic Science Fiction and Science Horror stories. The Crimson Krakin - NEOCEN GUARD and The Fallen - SHADOW KRAKIN battles are going to be terrible... and glorious!

COLLECTION DIARY: CHRISTMAS 2020

I have been collecting models from EVERYWHERE to build my wonderful special games. The most challenging project (besides MARVEL COSMIC PROTOCOL) has been to make my DUNE Skirmish Game cool and comprehensive! My little quest to represent The DUNE Universe the way that makes me the most happy has resulted in the first large orders from Peppets War and Etsy 3D Print shops. 
 

I have built up several units and even have some nice vehicles and terrain for my beloved DUNE Game. I will be sharing these goodies in 2021 as faction specific grouped collections. I did this back in the day when I was building my Boss' BIG Approved STAR TREK Collection, and STAR WARS LEGION. World building collections need to be kept together for the most part. The DUNE Universe is huge and so I feel this is the best way to buy and share what I am doing with my DUNE loving B6*R7 Fliers.

I think I am good with Cosmic Protocol Mechs as of this holiday.

GW TECHNICAL TERRAIN IS GREAT!

The many ways to make great terrain with the NEW Gang Stronghold set is absolutely wonderful FUN! If you want some good ideas for using this set alone or with other GW sets, then this is going to be a very helpful article for you! I am using The Gang Stronghold and my other SCI-FI terrain kits to make all kinds of cool tech-places! As of this year I now have all kinds of options for my MARVEL COSMIC, DUNE, STAR WARS: LEGION, and STAR TREK MISSIONS games.

Crimson Krakin: Neocen Guard Fluidic Air Force!

These are the heroes that will fly with The Guardians, Stark Infinite Iron Guard, and Nova Corps... Glorious is what it is! In-scale Star Battles with these BAMF MARVEL COSMIC Ships; as they defend their sovereign systems, is all kinds of HEAVY METAL!!! Galactus and other Cosmic-horrors are always trying to do evil-shit after all.

I got the way cooler Mouse-Marvel Play Set and I am happy with them, they look great!

COLLECTION DIARY: AUGUST 2020

This month I got most of what I need to build my STARK INFINITE and COSMIC SPACE PORT Terrain. This is going to be used for factories and other high tech-cosmic areas too!

I have enough Tech goodies now to make each of my space adventure settings look distinct and fun. For example Stark Infinite will have all kinds of STARK Tech and personnel inside, while a hanger bay will obviously have Starships and cool looking crews and cargo inside... hurrah!

MCP DEFENDERS (MARVEL KNIGHTS) ARE NEXT!

Preorders for the start of the Defenders Affiliation are coming this September 11th (kinda a creepy-ass number, and I love it)! I would of loved for AMG to call this one "Marvel Knights". I am cool with Defenders too, but most of my games will be set up as Dark City Night Adventures.

GHOST RIDER and DR. STRANGE & WONG are getting the team officially started. This is all looking very cool to me! It seems like I may have to make my own Blade and some Monsters to go with the setting I want! I can do that... I already planned to in fact, but I will wait to see what happens with DD, Punisher, and other Knights Heroes first!
