COLLECTION DIARY: MARCH 2021

 

The February Collection Diary and this month's diary mirror each other very well. I have The Black Order now and more Xenomorphs too so it has been a couple of fun months for my EVIL TOYS.

THE MCP NYC APT BUILDING EXPANSION... IS GLORIOUS!!!

This Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Painting the NYC Apartment video answers all of the questions I had about the wonderful terrain expansion... I NEED THREE... or four!  Tomic Mess went all out with this kit! You can build these aparmants from one to as many as you want stories tall (one kit allows you to make up to three)! You have all sorts of other options like facade and window variants and a garage and even a cute little fire hydrant, signage, and pigeons. CRAZY COOL!

AMG PREVIEWS THE LAAT VEHICLE EXPANSION

I like this deep-cut choice a lot. I am going to get at least one of these babies! I plan to paint the glass black because all of the previous vehicles have solid windows. I can use these dual seated pilots as gunners for my Imperial base. Checkout the details in the Patrolling The Skies article!

AMG MINI *MARVEL* EXTRAVAGANZA WAS GOOD!

So ends this years AMG online Mini Extravaganza. It was very good to see SPIDER-VERSE 2. The MARVEL KNIGHTS sneak peeks featured in some of the AMG Videos are IMO the best of the final revels from the last day. I love these characters and The BLADE model. We did not get anything new about Moon Knight but that will be coming soon together with BLADE!

AMG is bringing some CLASSIC MARVEL KNIGHTS and BLADE GLORY! I just had to do a little edit of my screen capped images of this very last sneak peek: They saved THE BEST FOR LAST with The GLORIOUS BLADE Model! Making this picture calmed me down and I accepted that I still have to wait a few more months before I can buy these wonderful models!

So ends this years AMG online Mini Extravaganza. It was very good to see YODA... with all of the other cool new toys too! These are IMO the best of the final images from the last day. I like all of these models. Since I am not playing LEGION: Clone Era I have use for these NEW Wookies in my HUTT Cartel!

YODA * MANDO * VADER... ALL ARE COMING TO THE NEW AMG STAR WARS!

We are getting some nice new VANILLA (Rebel), STRAWBERRY (Scum), and CHOCOLATE (Empire) Ice Cream this Summer gang! Also Tomic Mess decided SEAFOOD goes great with ICE CREAM. I have to admit that crazy-ass-kraken looks cool....but I happen to love SPACE MONSTERS.

In the last video interviews that Alex Davy appeared in he told us that THE MANDALORIAN goodies would be coming to STAR WARS next year. Well it is "Next Year" now. I expect to see this NEW SCUM GLORY in all of the STAR WARS Games.

MCP SPIDER-VERSE PART 2 ANNOUNCED!

This is all good... it is excellent in my view! I am certain that we all wanted all of these models; particularly Dat BAMF NEW SPIDER-MAN! Tomic Mess is doing better work as they continue to build The MARVEL Classic Universe! I need two or three of these NYC Apartments and I will of course be flipping Cat so that she is not backflipping all over my table.

BOSS' BIG FEDERATION FLEET... I might be done now. (LOL!!!)

I might have all of the FEDERATION ships I want in my fleet... now... maybe! It has been fun  figuring out a great storage solution for these BIG Beautiful Federation babies! It is such a delight to be able to have these wonderful ships in my Boss' BIG Approved Scale.

It took a few years to do it but I am very satisfied with the green ships in my collection!

Well now... these new Water Guild models are going to fit right into my DUNE and MARVEL COSMIC collections just fine! You might see a crazy new set of baddies for NECROMUNDA... I see LtoR a cool-ass GUILD Steersman, FREMEN Water Master, and new ALIEN Heavy for my MCP RAVAGERS.

STAR WARS: LEGION - SEPARATIST SPECIALISTS INFO AND VIDEO

AMG just posted a decent painting demo video this week. The extra content in the John's commentary was interesting. This late expansion is finally releasing in the US on the 12th. John also reminds us that AMG is going to run a three day streaming event this month from the 18th to 20th which is going to include many NEW announcements and previews of STAR WARS LEGION goodies.

DUNE SPECIAL CHARACTERS AND ELITES!

I love that other serious hobbyist acknowledge the fact that DUNE IS A PROMONANT INFLUANCE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF WARHAMMER 40K. I am using many GW Sci-Fi Miniatures for my DUNE Skirmish Game... because this IS true. The fact that much of the human parts of 40K and Necromunda feels like the DUNE Universe for a reason. Oddly and delightfully enough the PITCH BLACK films share this DUNE-like shine too. As my B6*R7 Fliers know that I am using models from many sources to build my DUNE Skirmish Game. W*ARTEL is one such company that I have had on my list for a while now. I am finally going to purchase several of their badass offerings this Spring. I wanted to be slick and smart $$$ wise and drop $200 bucks all at once on one nice big order. I love these models and feel they perfectly represent many of the special characters I want for most of my Dune Factions.
