BOSS' BIG STAR TREK: NEW FIGHTERS & SHUTTLES PART 1

I am adding NEW Boss' BIG Approved FIGHTERS & SHUTTLES to my beloved Big Attack Wing Collection. To get the party started I went with some badass Fighters for my top two Factions; FEDERATION and KLINGON of course!

The Federation's first new fighter is the AC-307 MkII Valkyrie. Valkyries are Rapid Warping Heavy Attack two-seater Aero Fighters!

This was the second iteration of the Valkyrie-class Warp Fighter. The Mk II - commonly called the Gryphon - was designed for attacking stronger opponents. Compared to the Mk I, it included upgrades to the nacelles for faster maximum and emergency warp ratings, improved pulse phasers, and stronger shields.

The original Valkyrie - the Mk I - first appeared as a new warp fighter aboard an experimental Typhon-class carrier. The Valkyrie was intended to replace the ageing fleet of Peregrine-class fighters currently in use throughout the fleet. Smaller and more agile, Valkyrie-class fighters were used for a variety of missions. Unlike the Peregrine-class, the Valkyrie was intended to be used in small groups, which made it ideal for fighter wing groups.

The Wizzies Trio of Attack Fighter Expansions are still around for about $20 + inflated shipping.

The Klingon's first new fighter is the Imperial Klingon Phantom Raider. Phantoms are Rapid Cloaking Heavy Attack three-seater Aero Fighters!

The Imperial Klingon Raider NIyma (trans. "Phantom") was the most advanced raider craft in the Klingon Defence Force's fleet as of 2381. Heavily armed, fast and maneuverable, they were still slower than the Valkyrie and Valravn-program fighters of the Federation, yet they made up for what they lacked in speed with their durability and weaponry. Fitted with both pulse disruptors as well as two heavy disruptor cannons, along with a new hard-point system, they were a craft to be reckoned with in close engagements. Their limited cloaking ability also held a crucial tactical role.
