COLLECTION DIARY: SEPTEMBER 2020

I have added a number of Funkos to my BATTLESTAR BERSERK Game in recent months. I waited to publish another Collection Diary for this game collection until I had enough toys to make another full wave of Colonials and Cylons. 

I like to window-shop at Amazon and find cute Pops that fit my crazy game and buy one here or three there. Now this month I can present a nice rounded set for the main factions as well as allied Mercs and some cool monsters too. YES The Berserker-Cylons use Tech Dragaons in Battlestar Berserk... because as I have said in early articles about this game the universe is based on Saberhagen's Berserkers as much as it is BSG. I will go into more detail about these fun Murder-Robot-Monsters and Dat Crazy Colonial Tank later...

 I also got some more Boss Shop tech and storage, because I always need to keep improving my gear and increasing storage for my wonderful toys!

With all of this new excitement for The DUNE Universe I have been inspired to take a closer look at the whole of the Dune Media out in the world. I knew it was big but it is actually huge. For example Brian Herbert has written more New DUNE Novels than his father did... that alone is crazy and very inspiring. I have decided to go crazy too (are you surprised) and I am going to build a DUNE MINIATURES SKIRMISH GAME. 

... there WILL be a Pugg too ...

NATE'S NEW MCP BATTLE: DEFENDERS VS. AVENGERS!

Hott-damm another NICE long battle report... GOooo Sir-Nate!!! My boy is the only MCP Brother that I can watch play this game! He manages to talk without being an annoying noisy goofball who won't shut up while his opponent takes their turn, and he actually does great clean smooth camera work so that I do not get motion sickness!) DAT NATE 😂😍🏆

DUNE 2020 MOVIE TRAILERS AND CAST FANFAIR! THIS IS FRANK'S DUNE!

FANTASTIC, EMOTIONAL, AND FULL OF DARK HAUNTING SCI-FI ENERGY!!! THEY DID IT, THEY HAVE DONE DUNE RIGHT!!! From the many brief glimpses it is clear that they have captured the spirit of the first novel! I love the 1984 movie by David Lynch, and they got some of that fine flavor in there too. BLESS THE MAKER... THEY HAVE DONE IT!!! DUNE LIVES 🥰

Enjoy these videos gang. Some people are wondering why Pink Floyd's DARK SIDE OF THE MOON is a part of the music in these videos. It is simple; Muad'dib is the little mouse shadow on the second moon. Paul liked it and wanted to use it as part of his new life identity. The song is a direct reference to Paul's Fremen name! Of course the other reason is because it is a BAMF Song and it is all about searching out in the void for a higher meaning and purpose to life!
